Joseph in the NBICU

Joseph has amazed us.  He started out on a lot of machines and everyday was off another one.  His progress is miraculous. He was on a cold pad for a couple of days and then they warmed him up and started his process getting healthy.  He had his MRI and it went great.  He only has about a 15% chance of developmental delays and cerebral palsy. Whatever happens, we love this little boy and will always be there for him. We are so thankful to the Doctors and nurses who took care of him when we couldn't be there.  Even with all the tubes, you can tell what a cutie he is.  The first day we got to see him we were overwhelmed with happiness that we got to be the ones to take care of him.  We felt that it was meant to be and that he was already a part of our family.

Joseph has the most wonderful big cheeks. He looks just like a Chipmunk!
